Synopsis:
Ein junger buddhistischer Mönch macht sich auf den Weg, das Land Shambala zu finden. Er weiß allerdings gar nicht, wo er dieses überhaupt suchen muss und was ihn erwarten wird. Die sehr lange Reise führt ihn schließlich nicht nur zu einer Nomadenfamilie in die Wüste Gobi, sondern auch zur Erkenntnis, dass er das ersehnte Land nur in seinem Herzen finden kann.

Erst als seine Großeltern ihn in ein buddhistisches Kloster zu einem alten Mönch in die Lehre schicken, ändern sich die Dinge…
